This title’s legacy is something that started all the way back in April 2013 when a cult PC shooter managed to became an overnight gaming sensation and spawned this terrifying new franchise full of brutality and gore.

This depiction of World War II is not entirely serious and has multiple humoristic undertones apart from the heavy action and is not intended to be taken too strongly or historically accurately, after all it is a zombie apocalypse scenario with the inclusion of the 1945 Germany setting to make it more provocative and controversial.
What is not to like about the idea of it? Who does not want to ruthlessly kill and shred zombies to pieces?
Being a result of warfare experiments it should not be too hard to cover them in bullets and rid them of their own misery by offering a smoother death by numerous sniper bullets in the skull!
Vast maps to enjoy and roam around on!
Find the best locations for the perfect sniper shot, take down hordes of enemies at close range when necessary and evade attacks as best as you are able to. The areas are vast with lots of tactical options to exploit and nest in.
Original primary and secondary weapons to select from.
Take advantage of the mighty arsenal that is offered to you as it would come in handy when you face against the zombified soldiers. Your main weapons would include mostly rifles packing a serious long-range punch, but for the closer combat there are shotguns, a couple of machine gun types, pistols, grenades, proximity mines and even dynamite explosive to blast through the levels with. Exploit the terrain and maximize the damage by luring clusters of your enemies into traps that you have set for them earlier.
Regular checkpoints and safe spaces to take a breath of fresh air in.
Even though most of the time you are going to be taking part in some grueling action combats with the undead, there are still regular places to make a save or get some rest to replenish your health or reload and restock. The whole game is amounting to a bit more than 15 hours of intense gameplay and there surely would come a time when you would wish to just hide for a moment or two.
Devastating kill cam shots to feast your eyes upon!
Paired with the violent action come the kill cams that display an even closer look towards the intended kill, be it a headshot or limbs tear off you would have the unique opportunity to follow the trajectory of your bullet in slow motion and see it pierce the flesh of the intended zombie, or if you are lucky enough it would go through a couple of more enemies in case they have aligned well enough for a trick shot.
Play on your own or invite your friends for a co-op challenge.
It could be really hard to manage and survive completely alone out there, so why not join forces with your buddies to then build a mean team that would prove to be a real menace for your brainless opponents? In co-op you would be able to assist each other and prevent some of the more dangerous situations that you would otherwise meet alone. Perhaps dive right in horde mode to try and withstand against greater numbers of foes, no worries though your framerate would remain stable even when dealing with a lot of zombies in one area.
Plan your strategy well and you just might survive this horror.
At first it could be useful to stand far and snipe in the distance, enjoying the trick shots or polishing your aim to perfection since later on you would not always have the comfort of distance between yourself and the lurkers. In some situations it would just be best to shoot and hope for a hit since there would definitely be no time to aim properly with the scope.
A fine mixture between military action missions and survival horror.
Even though there is not a lot of storyline involved the game does have a dynamic feel and tense atmosphere, with inspiration and nods to other titles in both worlds of shooters and horrors. You would certainly not have a dull moment to get bored with this one as it is not as campy as it might seem or too overwhelming either. Zombie Army Trilogy has managed to achieve an awesome balance between so many key elements and components making it a worthy entry in the gaming library of any fan that has a thing for cool zombie apocalypse themed titles.
Enjoy a really darker, a lot grimmer and much better than the original versions with enhanced graphics and much more insane action to experience. Would you be able to achieve your main objective and eliminate zombie Hitler, thus putting an end to an immense threat to the whole world?
