THE PLOT AND BACKGROUND:

After performing an emergency crash-landing on a strange shape-shifting world, Selene has to go through the barren landscape of an ancient civilization and find a way for her escape.

Completely alone and isolated, she finds herself reliving the same events but with something that is different each time, as she is fighting tooth and nail for survival. Again and again, she’s defeated – forced to restart her journey every time as she dies and wakes up again. Through the fast, relentless gameplay, you are going to find out that just as the planet shifts with each new cycle, so do the items that are available at your disposal. Every next loop offers some new types of combinations, giving you the necessary power and strength to push your boundaries and approach this endless combat again but with a different new strategy each time.

CO-OP MODE:

The Co-op Mode, allows you to share your journey through the shifting labyrinth of Atropos with another PC player.(5) The unfriendly environment and nature of Atropos will remain ever so hostile to you, but the possibility of teamwork adds a whole dimension and introduces new methods of survival if you are creative enough.

Players each control a different version of Selene, from different cycles. By using the Chronosis device located in each biome, the host player is able to summon a friend or is randomly assigned another online player. The host’s progress then determines the available pool of items for the duration of the multiplayer game.

THE TOWER OF SISYPHUS:

After you wake up at the crash site, look above. You must be able to see a gate towards the Tower of Sisyphus, it would be accessible as long as you have the Icarian Grapnel unlocked the.(5) It is in this tower, that you would have to prepare for a completely new kind of challenge. It’s an almost infinite ascending gauntlet with a sole focus on combat, the higher you go the higher you build up your score and progress, gain exclusive items, Scout logs and unseen fragments of Selene’s tragic story.
