Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one of the group of players takes on the role of some of the most savage Killers, and the other four players must act and play as Survivors that need to stay alive, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught, tortured and after that mercilessly killed.

Survivors play in third-person and have the major advantage of better situational and environmental awareness about the stage. The Killer on the other hand plays in first-person and is much more focused on how to get their prey and end them.

The Survivors' goal in each encounter is to manage to somehow escape the Killing Ground without getting caught by the Killer - something that sounds much easier than it actually is, especially when the environment changes every time you play and you are not able to memorize it.

Survivors can either choose to cooperate with the others or to be more individualistic about the situation and face it on their own. Your chance of survival would greatly vary depending on whether you work together as a team or if you go at it alone. Would you be able to outwit the Killer and escape their Killing Ground in one piece?

Where Am I Right Now?

Each level is procedurally generated, so you will never know what exactly to expect in every game. Random spawn points mean you are not able to feel safe as the world and its danger change each time you play.

A Grand Feast for Killers

Dead by Daylight draws inspiration from all corners of the horror world. As a Killer you would be able to play as anything from a powerful and vicious Slasher to terrifying paranormal entities with incredible features. Familiarize yourself with your Killing Grounds and then master each Killer’s unique powers to be able to hunt effectively, you should learn how to best catch and sacrifice your victims before they manage to escape the grounds.

Go Deeper And Deeper

Each member of the Killer roster and the Survivors have their very own deep progression system and plenty of unlockables that can be further customized in order to fit your own personal strategy. Experience, skills and understanding of the environment are key factors to being able to properly hunt or outwit the Killer.

The procedurally generated levels and real-life human reactions to pure horror transform each game session into an unexpected scenario. You are never going to be able to tell how it is all going to turn out with certainty. The ambience, music, and chilling environments combine into one truly terrifying experience to overcome. With enough time spent around the grounds, you might even be able to discover what is actually hiding in the fog.
