It is 1349. The plague roams and ravages the Kingdom of France. War has not ended for the last 100 years. The lands are in crisis and many have fallen already. Follow the grim story of young Amicia and her even younger brother Hugo through villages devastated by the disease. The two siblings are orphaned and forced to take an endeavor on a dangerous journey through the darkest days in our history.
As they are on the run and hunted by the Inquisition soldiers while surrounded by unstoppable swarms of rats, Amicia and Hugo will come to know and trust each other like never before in their lives. On their way, they would have to join forces with other children for help as they desperately manage to survive against all of the odds.
They are going to fight in order to find the true meaning and purpose in this exceptionally unforgiving world. Aided only by the link that binds their fates together, they will face untold horrors in their struggle to survive. As their adventure begins… the time of innocence ends.
One side of the game is heavily focused on stealth tactics such as; avoiding the knights, solving puzzles or traps, eloping chases, and hiding well-enough, the other part would require you to think strategically since you need light – as that is what the sick rats can be stopped only with, bright fires emitting blazing light.
Your choices matter and there are usually several solutions and outcomes in most situations that you are going to get yourself into.
