Did you dl the yuplay client? After you do that, select torrent or yuplay client as the means to dl WoP. You'll need registration and other numbers to plug in.

Yes, nice looking game so far (astonishing details and high fps) but a little arcadish even in simulation mode. WEP power is... hollywood style !

I honestly don't know what you guys are talking about I'm not having any problems at all nor do I care about paypal it's a trustworthy game company. Unless you guys have some kind of issue with your banks then you shouldn't be worried, but yes I agree paypal would be nice so others wouldn't complain and buy the damn game for their own reasons...

By the way for those who don't know since they don't have that great of instructions yet, to get the game started when you download the game open the folder up that you downloaded and double click "launcher" it will tell you what to update etc. in English of course, and allow you to chose your graphical settings... also do not forget to download the Yuplay Client and log in with your account you setup on the yuplay website.. very simple and quick, that way you can play online beta.

I am an extremely picky gamer esp. when it comes to simulators or aircraft games in general... and I have to say I love the game-play mechanics.. its smooth very pretty graphics, EASY controls once setup to your liking and understanding at least in ARCADE mode so far. I have no real complaints so far although it's 3 AM in the morning and there are no players to play with at the moment lol... keep in mind though it is BETA and the BETA just came out today, plus the downloads are large.. I happen to have a great internet connection in central USA. so I downloaded everything in about 3 hours.

First download is about 6 gigs which is the full game, after that it will ask you to update which is about 1.5 gigs that took about 45 mins for me. After update, I installed and good to go for online play etc.

I'm overall impressed with visuals and smoothness of gameplay, until I really start playing against others right now I feel like it has an ORIGINAL Counter-strike skill level feel to it which is what I've been looking for in competitive gaming, not MW2 spray and pray grenade launcher glitch skill spam with no recoil for children.

Once I get a little more into the online gaming and I see that I like the level of competition and non-newbyness gameplay then I'll buy a Joystick for sure...

Also keep in mind I'm playing with keyboard and mouse and it feels GREAT, I can't imagine how fun it will be with a joystick instead.. it's gotta be fun! Right now they have 4 multiplayer modes, Team Battle, Dogfight(ffa), Strike (not sure what that is yet probably take out specific targets sounds cool to me!), and capture the point(not sure how it works yet). I'm looking forward to tomorrow or after Christmas to see how popular the game is becoming and how much the game is going to change cya in game. You are missing one vital point, some of us do not want or have Visa credit cards, I have Switch card, PayPal accepts that, so if they had paypal here I could use that with my card ... its not about bank issues its about payment card "types" no being accepted via the current credit card only issue.

The YuPlay and torrent are incredibly slow for me. I don't really want to spend days or weeks downloading (It's already been almost 2 days). So I pay for a premium account and those links are invalid? When do I get refunded?

It's no wonder why Steam is so popular and I haven't even heard of this place.

anyone who own a joystick not listed in the game:

profile/options/controls/devices

then doubleclick the control and move the axis you want, it will be good then. it can be inverted and can add deadspace too. i use my logiech extreme 3d, and it working good for me

purchaced, dl took almost 5 hrs, installed and ready to go. I'll just have to wait for my joystick now, but having a kick out of it already. ;D. Great game guys, deserves every penny..

One question though, when you register the game it specifies that there are 2 activations left... Does that mean that if i format my pc, i'll have to register the game again?... if your activation attempts are up, what then? can't play the game anymore? :|....hope that's not the case... thanx

Russians do it better!! UBI failed with the Heroes-Series, Wings of Prey is THAT what I demanded. Nice Action, nice Sim also. And Paypal is scrap, I prefer credit cards. I´m a Sim-fan and the next product I prefer is Rise of Flight, also a russian product. And KA-50 also. Thumps up guys !!!

Please, I have changed my old "Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox 2 Pro" (because incompatible with the game) for the new "Thrustmaster T.Flight Stick X" (listed between the compatible devices in the game", BUT I still have some problems (even correctly setted in the game options):

1) I cannot turn my head to watch for enemies;

2) I cannot choose to shoot between machine guns and cannons.

Could you please fix the problem, as it was in the previous game IL-2 Sturmovik 1946?

Please, I'm using "Cyborg Evo" and it doesnt work in this game.(because incompatible with the game) it has only X52 & Aviator system, and I can set my joystic in additional layout mode especially using HAT key and firing trigger.

1) I cannot turn my head to watch for enemies using HAT key;

this game gets better with time ,i had a lot of lagg on vista 32 so i loaded it on vista 64,works a lot better the patches our a real bitch with steam down load.got there in the end.if u have had all the il2 series on pc the flying is the same,the shooting a little different,what makes this up is the arcade,the maps our very good too,has well has the graphics,u will find a lot missing from the il2 games.well lets face it how much more can thay ripe out of this game,il2 1946 that is.well my verdict on wings of prey,its a great fun game to have untill :storm of war:battle of britian its the streets.

I can't seem to install the patch upgrade 1.0.2.6, has it been disabled for some reason? If so can you let me/us know... please.

Also the Stalingrad scenario final chapter is IMPOSSIBLE. I attempted to complete it 12 times with a total kill of 29 on one attempt and I still failed the mission, now the entire campaign is stalled. Any advice short of giving up altogether?

Looks like a nice game, but until they can offer a more reassuring way of paying I won't be playing it. I have nothing against Russians, but nor have I any confidence in handing over my credit card details to a country which has such well-documented problems with organised crime.

This is a crazy business model. You should make life easier for customers, not make them feel they are taking a chance when dealing with you.

Same thing happened with DCS Black Shark. Their online purchase option looked very odd, so I waited until I could buy at Amazon. They got my business in the end, but at lower profit and with an impact on cash flow in the early days of release.

I can understand that decent, hard-working Russians must feel irritated hearing this sort of comment, but you have to live in the world as it is, and not as you'd like it to be.

The game is perfect… but needs some future!

I want suggest something for the next patch….. I hope that you’ll create the follow add-on:

• We like a bailout like this video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yPEbzwWk90I ). A realistic bailout, if it’s possible try to do… all player will appreciate;

• The game needs a mission builder and mission editor like IL-2 sturmovick 1946;
